Xh started being a bit funny about maintenance a year or so ago, was voluntary but something didn't seem quite right. Got CSA involved and it turns out he was no longer employed by who I thought he was. His payments followed the pattern that they always did when he was with that employer, ie monthly and quarterly commission. On further investigation it appears that he could have been made redundant (was employed for about 8 years). He has ignored all communiction from the CSA, they are now having to go through the tax office. What do you think he is up to?

As long as he pays, does it matter?

yes it does as we only have his very dubious word that he is paying us the right amount, that's why the CSA are involved.

Well, he could be trying to pay you the same as always, but have either got a job that pays less, or be using redundancy money to pay you.

Can you not the dcs is old enough to ask him what he's doing, or your ex mil if yuo are still in civil contact?
