Confused by unexpected attention on linked in

I've noticed a significant increase in views on my LinkedIn profile this week, all from people within my organization. Although I can't see exactly who they are, I know they hold roles in legal contract administration and PR.

I'm curious if this is unusual, especially since these areas don't directly relate to my work.

Any thoughts on why they might be interested?

It's the summer and they have more time to spend on social sites?

Impossible to know. Do you post a lot on LinkedIn? Any controversial posts or likes? Have you described your role accurately? A lot of peoplr I know massively about exaggerate on LinkedIn.
