Teens mucking around with stolen fire extinguisher

They are 13-14 and sprayed each other with a foam fire extinguisher. Dumped after being emptied. It was from a shop in the area as a sticker with the checks and location of extinguisher was on it.

Do I need to contact the police? I’m thinking that I should contact the shop too.

The chemicals in foam fire extinguisher are toxic if digested.

How bloody pathetic are these teens?

I’m sure the school holidays are too long for many kids. Roll on 26/27 August when they go back to school where I live. Been off for a month now.

Hi notedbiscuits,

It’s really frustrating to see kids getting up to this kind of mischief, especially when it involves something as potentially dangerous as a fire extinguisher. I totally get where you’re coming from, but I wouldn’t worry too much about reporting it to the police. Kids at that age can make some pretty silly decisions without thinking about the consequences.

That said, letting the shop know is a good idea so they’re aware of what happened and can take any necessary steps. Maybe the shop can secure their fire extinguishers better in the future.

Hopefully, these teens will realise how irresponsible this was and learn from it. School holidays can be a bit too long sometimes, can’t they?

I'd tell the shop and the fire brigade, idiots.

Pretty bad stuff to get on your skin too.

‘School holidays can be a bit too long sometimes, can’t they?’

Oh I dunno. Imagine how delighted their teachers are at having a break from dealing with these yahoos. At least you weren’t tryingg to make them do anything, like maths. Or attempt to make them behave in a vaguely civilised manner.
