Getting fed up of screaming kids down my road

They are 6-12 years old at a guess and probably 3 groups of siblings.

When should kids stop screaming when playing?

Have you tried yelling at them to shut the hell up?
Genuinely being serious, it worked for me.

I have and another person in another property opposite me has done the same. Gets ignored.

Feckless parents that think kids can scream with impunity tend not to encourage consideration for their neighbours.

So what age should kids stop screaming?

Never. Have you not been watching the riots!

That’s shouting, not screaming

My neighbours 5 doors down are in their 30s. When they have people over I have to wear earplugs in my garden. When we just moved, I thought it was coming from next door, that’s how loud they are. So the answer to your question is….never?
I come from a silent culture. We don’t really have children screaming as a rule. Britain is different, I’m finding that there is nothing worse than shrieking 30 year olds these kids grow up to be.

Report to the council?

Probably no point in approaching the parents as they will be delighted that the kids are out of their hair and they don't have to do any parenting. Let's face it, if these kids had been brought up to respect others this wouldn't be happening.
