Hotel/Center Parcs pillows are crinkly ffs

I slept like a log at Center Parcs and premier inns so I bought the same pillows they have at CP. they arrived today and the buggers have that awful crinkly feel and sound like it's cased in plastic. It's not, it says 100% cotton cover. I've bought 4 of them and don't think I can stand them. How can I uncrinkly them? They are too noisy and I doubt I'll be able to sleep on it. I was so excited too.

Give them to 100 or so other people to use for a couple of days at a time 🤷‍♀️

Wash them? If they're washable they may need a treatment washed out of them before they're usable.

I'd contact the company for advice.

I'd just return them if possible.

I slept on my old pillow and will call the company today. A quilted pillow protector might help but I'm very sensitive to things like this so it might not make much difference.

We had this with a duvet once, after a while it stopped making the crinkly noise!

@BananasForBrains how long did it take? Pillows should be silent imo.
