Where the hell is my bush mate?

Serious thread really.

We’ve just returned from holiday to find my neighbour has drastically trimmed a beautiful rose bush in my front garden. He seems to he (finally) putting up a fence between out two driveways and would have needed to trim a bit of overhang. However, he’s taken the whole bush, on my side too, from around 2m tall to 50cm.

I’ve got some of it recorded on my ring doorbell footage.

My neighbour is a general arse. There is backstory of him deliberately shouting VV loudly in his garden. I get the impression he is a bit of a bully and likes to wind people up.

What can I do to make this shit stop? We both own our properties.

If your neighbour is as you describe and this is an attempt to annoy you just for the hell of it, disappoint him with a complete non-reaction.

I hope this is a one-off because of the fence.

Ignore the prat, your bush will grow back, probably stronger, just make sure to keep it from overhanging into his garden. He obviously waited til you were away so don't give him any reaction at all. Maybe plant another bush just to annoy him
