What may be thrown into the mix is that some of these areas involved have local gangs that fight against each other for 'territory'. Add in the stirring up of incitement on social media to 'reclaim our' country, communities are fighting against each other. When there're already 'turf wars' it wouldn't be difficult to escalate that. The question is, who wants that to happen?
