Womens Olympic Skateboarding

Just watching the women's skateboarding and the competitors are all so young, it doesn't look like their is 1 adult in the competition, the youngest girl is 11 years old. AIBU in thinking we shouldn't be calling this womens skateboarding given the all the competitors are children? It feels uncomfortable calling an 11-16 year olds women to me 🤷‍♀️

I don’t think children should be allowed to compete at that young age. The pressure on them must be insane.

We were just saying the same thing. They look so young. In most other sports they’d still be competing as age-groupers and developing their ability to cope with competition alongside their sporting skills.
