Is travelling to central London safe atm

Have an appointment with my child which I could postpone but wouldn't want to. I am Asian. Would you say it is safe to be in central London atm?

I work in London and I haven't seen a hint of problems. The tubes are full of people of all nationalities, ethnicities and I guess religion and no one was paying any attention as always. If you feel unsafe at any point please ask someone to talk to you, I suspect a lot would happily help despite it being usual to avoid eye contact.

I would say London is about the safest city to be in at the moment!

Just to reassure I went into Victoria today and then up to Trafalgar Square direction. Not a sniff of any unrest.. everyone is doing their own thing and being very London (head down and off to do their thing!) 😉

I've just commuted to and from Waterloo today and it felt exactly like every other day. With plenty of people from ethnic minorities just going about their normal business.

Been into central London each day this week, all normal, nothing alarming. I think the areas of concern are a bit further out x

We took the DC there today for a day of sightseeing. Absolutely no problems, everyone just having a lovely day as usual. Tubes all fine.

To echo a PP, I said to my DH central London seems to be the safest place at the moment!
