I posted before about how fed up I am of my neighbours. I’m in a block of 8 flats.

I phoned my housing association last week regarding their antics, litter and rubbish bags. Big fucking mistake, they have taken issue and have decided to report me to my housing for something that I haven’t done.

This, their behaviour in general and an extremely cliquey block combined with adaptations made to my property are just making my life hell. I don’t want to report anything because I’m scared how far they’ll go with these allegations, they made them regarding a previous tenant when they reported their behaviour too, phoning the police etc.

I feel so intimidated and like I’m being bullied. I feel uncomfortable even being in my flat now.
I am on a transfer list for medical grounds anyway, the flat and it’s multiple adaptations are and have been seriously decreasing my quality of life.

Please does anyone on here have any idea on what I can do moving forward please. Thank you.

Hi, I work in the ASB team of a housing association.

What have they accused you of? Anyone investigating will tell them to provide evidence, they may chat to you about it but trust me the default position isn't that you're guilty just because a report has been made.

You need to engage with the HA and keep reporting issues and let them deal with it in line with their policies and legislation.

Fly tipping. Someone’s dumped some household crap outside and they’ve said it’s mine. I’m really worked up. I just feel so antagonised.

Sadly I had this problem with a bunch of neighbours and it took 2 years for us to get moved (we were medical grounds too) We had false accusations made up about us and had police called on us, the RSPCA, and worst of all, social services saying I was unfit Mother. The only way I got through it was to stop ‘clecking’ on them, walk quickly past them all and just keep our heads down. Was living hell. Housing officer was very helpful and sympathetic, so was the police. Completely non judgemental. They told me to write every incident down in a little book in case I had to report it all to provide evidence to clear my name. Good luck and hopefully you can get help via HO and police too. X

Thank you. That’s what I’m dreading, police and SS.

Try do everything you can to keep out of their way and ignore. It’s really hard and if necessary get the police on your side. It went proper downhill mentally for me when ss were involved. X
