Staying on a campsite - unruly kids

AIBU here? We are staying in a static caravan in a small family run campsite, not a haven etc so no evening entertainment.

There is a play area and groups of kids hang out here every afternoon and evening, they have been running riot and this evening after we’d finished our BBQ tea they decided to knock several times on the side and back of our caravan, they did it again just now. My son has played out with them a few times today and yesterday (we arrived yesterday afternoon) and they’ve been quite pushy, asking for him to bring them out sweets and so on.
They keep screaming and shouting behind our caravan and other peoples too.

AIBU to go out and speak to them? I don’t know who their parents are.

Do you have a number to phone the owners/management? I would call them to deal with it.

Join them at their own game - act deranged and intimate them. Next time they knock or shout go out there running about screaming FUCK OFF and they'll hopefully think you're mental and just leave you alone.

Speak to the site office regardless of anything else they shouldn’t be banging on the sides/back whatever of caravans.

Either go out and ask them firmly but politely to stop or contact the site manager.

I mean tbh often it does work we had wankers snowballing throwing themselves in the parked snowed on cars. Till I shouted out the window to get the fuck off our car and then magically ours was the only one not being hidden behind and laid on during the snowballing.

Why not? They are obviously not being parented correctly so may need a firm telling off

OP there are plenty of options in between doing nothing and going to extremes that may bring more trouble to your door.

On the off changes your in ingoldmells and your site backs onto sundancer pub it’s actually owned by a bigger site 🤫 so it does actually have proper security and such if you make yourself annoying.

Let this site manager know. They can't deal with issues if they are not told about them or are told once it's too late to deal with them i.e. when your leaving the site and mention it.

There's an element of kids being kids but it's not on to be causing excessive noise and being a nuisance to other site users.

Have some biscuits to hand and say you can't hand them out in case of allergies so need to check with mum and dad so which caravan are mum and dad in?

When you one you go over and keep up the pretence of checking for allergies and then say you won't mind them having these biscuits but can they the parents ask them not to bang on your caravan.

Or, easier, ring the manager 🙄.

Do not tackle the kids yourself. Ask where their parents are and talk to them.

When they are banging. Record it from the inside so no faces etc and send to the site manager as there are rules for campsites and they can ask the other family to move along. You can ask them calmly to stop and say you won’t be providing food or sweets.

FFS! What did people do before having MN to ask? Just speak to the site manager and tell them. Or ask the kids to stop 🤷‍♀️

The adult solution- figure out where their parents are or even better get the site manager involved.

I would definitely take this approach too. Maybe a bottle of squirty ketchup thrown into the mix.

Find out what caravan they stay in, then throw bread on top of their caravan. The seagulls love it lol 😂 especially at 5 in the morning
