To ask how you spread out calories throughout the day?

I usually wake up for work anywhere between 6:15-7:30 for work, maybe 8 for a lie in on the weekend.

Usually in bed anywhere from 10:30-11, 11:30 absolute latest on a weekend.

Based on my height, weight and activity levels I try to have roughly 2,000 calories a day, sometimes up to 2100, or down to 1900.

ATM I'm trying to keep it at around 1800-1900 because I feel I've gained weight despite not exceeding my calories.

The problem I find is that I'm eating the bulk of my calories by lunchtime. By around 2pm, I've usually eaten 1,300 calories, sometimes 1,400 ok a bad day.

That means a light evening dinner and a piece of fruit or something.

I get hungry a lot during the day, and I think office work isn't helping me as I can eat when I'm bored, and as I usually take in my lunch, I end up eating it at 11 sometimes.

Would just be interested to hear what times of day people eat and how they spread calories out?

I eat breakfast about 8.30 and have fruit with fat free Greek yoghurt and a sprinkle of sugar free muesli
Lunches it's usually a chicken or tuna salad on a weekend I may have scrambled eggs on toast.
Snacks are fruit usually but sometimes a bag of crisps.
Dinner is normal kid friendly food, spag bol, fajitas etc

I don't think about calories but probably eat about 2000 to 2500 a day as I do a lot of sports.

Boredom eating is not a good habit. Make sure you're eating a high protein breakfast. I tend to have natural yoghurt with granola (containing dried fruit and honey and no added sugar).

I'm then too busy (teacher) to bother with food.

In the holidays, I just don't have any "crap" in the house that I'd want to snack on, so have the normal 3 meals a day cooked from scratch and rarely snack.

I personally only have coffee for breakfast. Then I usually spread my daily calories equally between lunch and dinner.

I would agree with PP on making sure you have plenty of protein and also some fats to ensure you feel full. And then you just have to break that boredom eating habit. Could you chew chewing gum instead? Or drink water, or a coffee or tea?
