On the back of a “thank you” thread the other day, is it unreasonable to expect a thank you or even a simple like, if you have spent time answering a question for someone in a Facebook group? Especially when it something they could have just googled! They’ve managed to navigate their way on Facebook and join a group but yet incapable of using a search engine to find the answer to the most simple questions, despite typing said question into social media. They just sit back waiting for the answers to inevitably flood in. Like what time does the post office close? Or where can I buy school uniform? Then there’s the anonymous poster - why be anonymous when you’re asking for a moisturiser recommendation or lunch ideas?
Facebook just makes me grumpy. Need to get rid!
