To keep wondering why there's a chicken topic but no music topic?

Sorry but it is bugging me! There are topics for film and TV. Loads of topics cover reading. But (as has been said before) there is nothing for music apart from the all encompassing culture vulture section.

tbh I would not contribute much to a music topic anyway, but I can see that plenty of people would.

I have nothing against chickens btw.

Yes, I know - and have signed it. It seems there has been no answer from MNHQ. I know they are busy and this is the school hols, but from what I have gathered, this is not the first time people have asked for a music topic and been refused. If there was no separate film, book or TV topic I could understand.

the chicken and dyson topics are new. that is why. there was room for them and not a music section thats all.

in the three years or so since a music topic was first asked for they have introduced loads and always said there was no room for music

I suppose though music does 'fit' into culture vultures - but chickens didn't fit anywhere - it sort of traversed pets, ethical living and gardening so it was really hard to find the chicken threads - and there are quite a lot!

some music does fit into culture.....but I don't feel at ease talking metal and I am sure people feel the same about rap/pop/r&b
