Has this happened to anyone else's iPhone ? Switching on and off

It was just switching itself off every 3 minutes or so and then rebooting itself with apple logo and switching itself back on.

It was pretty frustrating. It was doing this for around 4 days and now it's suddenly working again normally.

I took it to a shop and was told it had an error and needed to be sent off / replaced. I couldn't leave it there that day so I took it home and just continued using it the way it was and now suddenly it's fine again.

I'll still take it in to be fixed, but how random is this ? Has anyone experienced something similar ?

Yes, my DD has had this happen to her phone - is yours also an iPhone 11? It's happened twice now but does right itself and not happened for a while tbh so she's not going to do anything about it.

I see. I have an iPhone 14, it's not even a year old.

I will get it repaired / replaced. I have apple care thankfully so it won't cost me too much. But it's super random and super random that it seems to be working ok right now.

Yep, iPhone 13. Mine once restarted dozens of times in one day. Then it’d be fine for a while, then just keep switching off and restarting itself again, no pattern as to what set it off. Tried resetting to factory settings, made no difference. It was a couple of years old and I chalked it up to being repeatedly dropped and bought a new one - it kept cutting out during important phone calls which was the final straw.
