Shared front area of house, what would you do?

I live in a new build and there’s a shared area at the front with soil that runs from my front door to theirs and has some bushes etc planted in it. I have kept my side tidy but theirs is now full of random bits of grass that has grown really hair, thistles, brambles, nettles, weeds. All really high and over grown and it’s making the front of the houses look a mess. Would you say something or just leave it?

You could offer to do it when you do yours as it bothers you more then it seems to bother them

I agree. If you want it doing you’re going to need to do it yourself. Some people just aren’t that arsed. I share a bed with my neighbour. It has bushes in that need trimming back. She’s not bothered but I am. So I’ve paid twice now to get it cut.

Our house layout sounds the same as yours. Us and next door don't do it often but whoever is out there sorting weeds and stuff will do both sides.
