What are these 2 Amazon items I’ve definitely not ordered?

Any idea what they’re meant to be? Is it a glitch in the matrix or something?
I don’t have any Android devices and I’m the only person with access to my Amazon account. Thankfully, they don’t appear to have taken any money off me this time.

I will try Amazon customer service later when I’ve got more time to waste.

The last time I had to use them to resolve a problem where they had taken money for a non existent subscription, it took them two hours of me holding the line and being transferred several times, although they did resolve it in the end and refunded me. Several times, they kept telling me it wasn’t possible for it to have happened despite me sending them screenshots from my bank account!

sorry, didn’t mean to enable voting. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve no idea what they are but I’d be changing my password/adding two factor authentication and removing any stored payment options.
Pain in the bum but stops anyone ordering on your account.

Looks like someone is using your Amazon account on an android device. Either a family member or scammer.
change your password!

Looks like someone linked your account to their Kindle Fire. Agree re changing password and enabling two factor authentication.

ETA: VLC is a media player if I remember correctly.

OpizpuHeuvHiyo · 22/07/2024 17:25

The transaction amount is zero for each. Someone has linked an app in a device to your account.

  • VLC for Kindle/Fire plays most local video and audio files, as well as network streams (including adaptive streaming), like the desktop version of VLC.
  • VLC for Kindle/Fire has a media library for audio and video files, and allows to browse folders directly.
  • VLC has support for multi-track audio and subtitles. It supports auto-rotation, aspect-ratio adjustments, hardware acceleration and gestures to control volume.
  • It also includes a widget for audio control, supports audio headsets control, cover art and a complete audio media library.

If you don't have a kindle or fire tablet this is a concern.

By the way both of these apps are for watching videos/files/movies etc on Android - a fire stick or an android tv.

did you just get a new tv? Or have a partner who might be interested in watching ‘online movies’ on tv?

I received a SIM card I hadn't ordered (or paid for) and a Kong dog toy (ditto). Dog was thrilled with the latter.

Click ‘your apps and devices’ on the right side of the screen. This will show you what devices your account is logged in on.
