To be considering a cream boucle chair with a cat?

I have a white cat who sheds - a lot. I'd love a bouclé armchair. Is that a/a smart idea as white hair won't show on it as much b/insane as fur hard to get off. She doesn't tend to come in with muddy paws and doesn't scratch furniture (is very good with her scratch posts)

She may not scratch now, but boucle will probably be an irresistible temptation ( it’s that lovely feeling of the bobbles sticking in your claws as you f l e x …😸

I love cream boucle but I've gone with cushions instead of a chair.

I’d be worried about scratching. You can’t control what she might find irresistible. Hair is less of a problem if you have a good pet hoover.

I mean I don’t really like boucle anyway - but the hair, the scratching

don’t do it

Wimberry · 21/07/2024 09:54

Even if your cat doesn't scratch much usually they absolutely will scratch boucle.

Hm - looks like a resounding YABU. Thanks folks

Sensible decision.

Would love to see a photo of the cat.

Me too! Photo of cat needed lol

Puss could get her claws tangled in the boucle, too.
