Can I catch a cold sore this way?

My massage therapist had a cold sore, could I catch it from her?

No, you can only catch a cold sore off a toilet seat.

I'm just looking for help because I'm worried.

Presumably the cold sore is on her lip, and she washed her hands before treating you?
If that's the case I'd have thought it unlikely.

Kissing or oral sex is the usual way of catching it. Sharing bath towels is another way apparently. Read the link. But I wouldn’t panic as you possibly have the virus already given that something like 90 % of adults end up with it at some point - although may not show symptoms:

Edited to say: I am not a medical professional of any sort . I just have a lot of experience having had the cold sore virus since I was a child.

I doubt it. One of my dc would suffer a bad case of them and nobody else got them.
