received summer holiday vouchers for my children (primary) today and they were for 100£ each - for anyone unfamiliar with this benefit you can choose a supermarket of your choice and the money is redeemable on groceries only.
I am feeling worried it was a mistake because I don’t ever recall the vouchers having such a high value?
fwiw I receive a UC credit and my children get free school meals. I don’t get free or discounted prescriptions and work part time (single parent household)
has anyone else received this amount? I’m both blessed as I know this is a significant amount and covers what I’ve just spent on uniforms for next year but also feeling what I think is guilt
