Perimenopause and aches

I’m 45 years old and no signs of the menopause yet. The last month or so I ache so much, my back, neck and shoulders. I roll over in the night and it hurts, I get up in the morning and it hurts to the point I don’t want to get up really as I know it will hurt. It does ease during the day mostly but then by night my neck and shoulders hurt a lot. I just wondered if other women my age have had/have these pains and whether it’s normal at my age or could be linked with the menopause?

42 here. I can't remember the last time I didn't have a bad back. Today my hips hurt too!

It's perimenopause. HRT and turmeric really help.

Health and Her perimenopause vitamins have been a game changer for me. Took 4-6 weeks to feel a difference, but between that, collagen and vit d I feel a lot better…

Peri can last for about 10 years. Im 52, still in peri

Aches
memory problems
concentration problems
bloating
swollen ankles
hair loss
dry eyes
poor sight (nothing to do with prescription, prescription is correct)
dry skin
itchy skin
needing the loo constantly, nothing there, no UTI
not being able to hold on for the loo
haggard face
anxious, yet couldnt give a shit about things
wired and restless, yet tired.

What fun!!

53 here, periods still regular, but the constant pain across my shoulders and down my arms is shocking, I’m sometimes afraid to be alone in case I’m actually having a heart attack or something.

The skin itching is also awful, up my chest and neck, including my ears, its like a massive allergic reaction with welts and everything. Cold water and very gentle skincare is all I can use on it.

I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Joints are stiff and painful. Eyesight problems with or without glasses. Tired. Memory fog, look tired and haggard. I'm 47. Fed up isn't the word!

Constant aches, just constant. I used to be able to run 10k a couple of times a week, now I’m in agony having done a slow 5 today.
Physio just gets a glazed look when I mention it, he simply doesn’t understand (or care to).

Sleeping is the worst. If I lie on my right side, my hip hurts. If I lie on my left side, I end up with a cricked neck, if I sleep on my back I wake myself up snoring.

Oh goodness, I wish in some ways I hadn’t asked! I really haven’t looked into it all just thinking I may be lucky and get hardly any symptoms (following in mum’s footsteps), but some of the above sounds really horrible! I have been googling turmeric shots since it was recommended above and seems as if there is quite a bit of research confirming it helps. May bulk order! 🤦‍♀️
