Whenever I go out with a certain group of friends they can all seem to drink more than me without feeling any effects…

We’re all similar builds and sizes but they can drink more than me without the consequences. I know my limits and stop when I feel merry but they’re like just one more bla bla: if I continue I would feel ill all day the following day so I stop but they can go and go and go and still be fine?!

I can drink a bottle of wine in 3 hours and be ok, but if I drank more I’d know about it. They could drink two bottles and be ok?!

I suspect the answers here will be less than a bottle of wine. To add I would only drink on weekend and never during the week. It’s not every weekend either.

Whats everyone else’s tolerance? I’m not asking for opinions of those that rarely drink as that pointless but people that like to relax with a drink on a weekend

Same, one bottle max. But even that makes me feel rough the next day. Any more than that and I'm not worth knowing the next day, feel horrific. I honestly don't think I could drink 2 bottles and not pass out or be really ill. Used to be a drinker in my student days, lots of late nights, mixing drinks, still went into uni/work. Honestly don't know how I did it know. 20 years later I'm definitely drinking less and less, its just not worth the hassle of feeling so rough the next day! Can't be a bad thing but do miss being able to have a few drinks and not feel like death the next day 😂

I agree, we used to go out and then get up for a-levels the next day 😳 If I’ve been drinking now, I can’t out of bed before mid day! 🫤🫣

Well I rarely drink Grin but when I drink it's on a big night out
Last time a bottle of wine before I left the house, then another bottle in town, a few cocktails, Prosecco, some shots and some spirits/mixers

I'm fine with a bottle of wine and wouldn't be hungover, 2 bottles then yes hangover. High tolerance even if I don't drink for a year
