I think my manager dislikes me

I’ve been working at my current place for a year and my manager recently returned from having a baby, however she keeps giving me the jobs I hate, I can tell she doesn’t like me. I get put on departments I’ve told her I don’t like and I get told to do rubbish jobs that no one else does, they just get to do nothing.

what do I do?

First are you sure she's actually treating you unfairly and it's not just your perception? Secondly can you move departments or look for another job?

If you're absolutely sure this is the case and that other people just get to do 'nothing', then it's very easy to prove.

Report to higher management and consider taking out a grievance.

Make sure to join a Union if you're not already in one.

Jobs you hate? Well, there are certain tasks I have to do in my job that I don't overly like but they need to be done. We can't pick and choose what needs to be done if it's part of our role to do it.

Are they jobs that are not normally part of the job?
