If it’s the black coconut ice cream I think you have a point- but I agree likely to be thoughtlessness and the fact that the colours matched rather than closet racism (unless Farage et al are in town).

Is black coconut like black garlic? I’m which case it’s just a description of the colour of a food. I don’t know the player or anything about football, but if the ‘black coconut’ is a reference to a person of colour then I would indeed deem that inappropriate.

I'm not trying to make a joke, I'm asking for clarification. I don't follow football. Lots of people don't.

I read three sources of news pretty much daily but skip anything sports related as I simply don’t care. I will watch at the weekend for my son though. I couldn’t tell you anything about the England team. Nothing at all. Just don’t care. At all. But will be pleased for them and fans if they win.

Maybe reaching a bit, but he plays for Real Madrid in black and white. Do you think maybe someone was being a bit too clever ?

Is it the black coconut and the fact that Jude Bellingham is black that's the issue? Black coconut is a thing, it's a powder additive that was created for ice cream to replace charcoal that was so popular. So the name black coconut in itself isn't an issue, just the context of it here.

The person holding it hopefully is just being thoughtless rather than malicious.
