But are threads being deleted because the OP gets in a strop?

I’ve noticed quite a few threads that have been deleted after the OP doesn’t get the advice they clearly want (ie supporting their own views), especially when their own questionable behaviour is called out, leading to strops and a swift delete of the entire thread.

AIBU to think that just makes the OP look emotionally reactive/immature? And not open to any advice that doesn’t support their existing view?

I would only get a thread deleted if I or someone it referred to was outed… any other reasons people have requested theirs be deleted?

Yes have also noticed that. Bizarre having it deleted IMO. Ultimate hissy fit.

I had to get one deleted as my ex infiltrated it and started commenting under different user names 😐

I also think it's ridiculous when other posters posts are deleted because idiots complain just because they don't like what's said. That makes me cringe inside out for those fascists tbh.
