My husband's terrible music taste

For a moment I had a glimmer of light - he proposed putting Beyonce Texas Hold Em on his horrible 80s 'party'' playlist.

I told him that Beyonce and Miley Cyrus Most Wanted was A-mazing. I played it and even slow danced with him in the kitchen.

He doesn't get it. I'm gutted.

You both have terrible taste, different terrible taste perhaps but all the same 😂

it’s so subjective isn’t it? What do you have in common? I nearly dumped my dh of now 25 years because he has a Mariah Carey cd…

Well, you're a year ahead of me.

Jeez, never thought I'd see the day that a slow dance didn't get him to see that my music taste is always right

I mostly disagree with DP. Mainly over Bob Dylan (I love him, DP thinks he's a whiny nasal moaner), if I never hear some of his rap stuff again I can die happy, he doesn't get my love of Fleetwood Mac or Jon Mitchell, or 80s soft rock, I can't stand techno, we both love drum and bass and jungle....

Live and let live, basically.

Wireless headphones are our friends!

80s music is great

Everyone is entitled to their own tastes

My DH has the most abysmal musical taste. TBF, it's quite eclectic but leans heavily towards Fleetwood mac, the eagles with an increasing amount of trance

Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell are both terrible. Even my husband agrees on this.

I’m sorry but we can’t be friends.

Thankfully, my husband and I love 99% of the same music and have lots of fun listening and dancing like fools.

HOWEVER. There is a certain genre of music, I won't name it, that he loves and I honestly cannot listen to it. It is like an auditory panic attack and it makes me incredibly anxious. Said music is banned from our house and vehicles, and I am grateful that my husband understands and only listens to it alone or with headphones.
