I have been in a new job for 2 weeks. Nothing has gone wrong but I have a feeling they don’t like me.
today I got an email from my manager saying as things were going to be quiet on my projects over the summer they want me to help out with another team? This team is extra busy over the summer.
Im wondering if they just want to use me as low level resource whilst this team is busy and then sack me.
- I really dont want to the type of work the other team does - it’s after work events and I have a family
- If my new role is so quiet then why did they recruit me?
AIBU to think this is a bad sign after only two weeks.
