Craft ideas for 12th birthday party

What little craft projects and ideas would be fun and not too complicated for a birthday tea at home?

T-shirt painting went down a treat at my daughters 12th party

Engraving art, sewing patches on things (I mean badges not just bits of scrap), posca pens and a load of wooden boxes/frames etc (the works is great for this kind of thing)

Decorate their own mugs / characters? You can get sets of plain white ones plus pottery pens/ paints. Then bake in oven after to set / harden. We did this once around that age. Or self hardening clay and cutters plus paint, glitter, sequins or whatever. Friendship bracelets.

Buy ready made plain cupcakes, or make them if you prefer, for them to ice & decorate with various things

As PP said - wooden boxes / frames etc (from The Works) and acrylic paint or pens, sequins, buttons etc to decorate

My youth group likes easy sewing projects, usually precut felt pieces to sew together, stick on details and stuffing to make a plushy.
Paracord or embroidery thread bracelets go down well too. Plenty of YouTube tutorials on how to make them.

Also crochet seems to be making a resurgence at the moment.

Printing on a tote bag- hobbycraft have blank ones.
They can then be the party bag.

You could buy mini easels with small canvases and some paints and brushes so everyone has their own mini painting station, simple and fairly cheap!

I came on to say this...the works have fabric pens/paints.
