To ask if you see a difference?

I’ve started an under eye treatment and I’m about half way through my course. I thought it was seeing a difference, but as I look at myself every single day it’s hard to tell. I asked a colleague with those photos and she said “there’s absolutely no difference”

And just for reference I’m not and never have expected 100% clear under eyes, I’m just after an improvement as I’m very self conscious.

Ok, so same lighting but do you see what we mean about the second photo seeming less coloured overall? Compare the skin tone - looks much pinker/deeper in the first photo. And your eye colour definitely looks lighter/paler in the second pic.

That all said, it does look like there’s improvement. It’s just hard to rely on the photos unfortunately given the overall colour differences.

Your eyebrows are beautiful

MangoJojo · 03/07/2024 20:55

Missing the point entirely but your eyebrows are 👌🏻

Roundroundthegarden · 03/07/2024 21:04

I think the lighting makes it seem like there's a difference but to me it's the same. Gorgeous eyebrows and eye colour though.

CheeseSandwichRiskAssessment · 03/07/2024 21:08

The right photo looks much smoother, not sure what your colleague is on about. What's the treatment ?

Caroparo52 · 03/07/2024 21:08

Skin around right eye visibly less dark

GladiatoooorsReadyyyy · 03/07/2024 21:10

The lighting makes it very difficult to tell if there’s an actual difference, but you have beautiful eyes!

MoreNancy · 03/07/2024 21:16

Everything is lighter in the second photo - your eyebrows, nose, Iris etc. so I’m finding impossible to tell. Were they taken at the same time of day?

florasl · 03/07/2024 21:18

Are they Polynucleotides injections? When I was researching them it said results in 3-6 months.

Cheeesus · 03/07/2024 21:22

Flick from one photo to the other and you can see the lighting is totally different. I wonder if they do that deliberately.

Amsx · 03/07/2024 21:37

Not enough to pay any money for.

Ilovebees · 03/07/2024 21:38

@foreverstardust I think the first photo looks more purple and second is a bit lighter , more grayish / brown . So I think there is a tiny bit of difference :)

StripedTomatoes · 03/07/2024 21:44

I can't see any difference.

silverhamster · 03/07/2024 21:50

I think there's an improvement
Although the second photo is overall lighter, the area covered by the darker skin has definitely shrunk.
Also, you have a beautiful left eye! Reminds me of Vicky McClure!

Not enough to pay any money for.

Pretty much.

AtrociousCircumstance · 03/07/2024 21:53

I can see a definite difference.

BirthdayRainbow · 03/07/2024 21:54

I'm using a moisturiser for brightening under my eyes, if you don't want needles.

I can see a big difference.

thinkfast · 03/07/2024 21:55

The first photo the skin around your eyes is darker and your the whites of your eyes have a lot of red

The second photo your skin is a lot lighter coloured but your eyelid looks a bit swollen. The white of your eye looks much clearer.

lightsandtunnels · 03/07/2024 21:55

The 'after' picture looks quite different to me on your whole face, not just under eye. Your skin tone is much less red - looks kind of airbrushed but that's all over. It's hard to work out if the under eyes are different.

Qwertys · 03/07/2024 21:57

I see the difference but honestly the before pic is gorgeous too. You shouldn’t be self-conscious.

MonsteraMama · 03/07/2024 21:58

The main difference I can see in the second picture is the lighting, unfortunately. The undereye area is maybe a little fuller too? Not sure.

Hotgirlwinter · 03/07/2024 21:58

yes I can see a big difference in the darkness especially in the inner part of your nose. Great progress!

@BirthdayRainbow Which one?

Laiste · 03/07/2024 22:04

Your iris is lighter in the 2nd pic. Everything is a bit lighter but the iris is the most easy to gauge by.

This means the lightness is not the same in both photos.

When you edit pics on your phone you can up/down the 'lightness'.

If you post both pics with your irises looking the same you'd be 99% sure of the lightness of the pics being about the same and then we can compare the under eye area properly.

@BirthdayRainbow Which one?

I should have said I meant I can see a difference in the OPs.

I'm using REN brightening dark circle eye cream. Mine weren't that noticeable but I think it's still done a bit.
