Delayed my period, will it now be awful?

Delayed my period with progesterone so I wouldn't have it on holiday, will it now be awful when it comes? I'm getting twinges in my lower stomach which feel different

It’s unlikely to be much different from usual.

I've heard anecdotally that it has been different for some women, was never the case for me though and now I delay it permanently (by taking pill 365 days a year)

I have delayed mine twice and it’s actually been less painful but lasted a day longer.

One of the side effects can be a heavier / painful period but from experience mine was pretty normal.

It’s never impacted mine.

I did this all the time (for years) and it never made a difference.
