I'm in bed ill with stomach issues. By unlucky coincidence, my next door neighbour has employed someone to jet wash their whole driveway and front pathway area. It's been over three hours and the noise is still going. It's becoming unbearable. It's right underneath my bedroom window but I can hear it in every part of the house. The sound of the jet washer is physically hurting my ears. It's honestly like torture.
The worst thing is it keeps stopping and starting up again. So I get blissful peace and silence for about 30 seconds and then it starts again. There can't be any square inch of their driveway left to jet wash but yet it's still going. The noise is like a cross between a hoover and when someone is using an electric sander on wood. I've put some ear plugs in but there's a frequency to the sound that I can hear in my bones. I don't even know how the physics of that is possible.
Obviously my lovely neighbours couldn't have known I'd be at home sick today. But after three and half hours of this I'm feel genuinely ready to burst into tears. WIBU to stick my head out of the window and shout please will you fucking STOP?!!
