McDonald's drive thru drama...

30 min wait, never any milkshakes, always something wrong/missing, 'can you park up', same for everyone else?

Any other funny stories/dramas to share? :)

Someone once tried to sue McDonald’s for lying about the milkshake machine being out of order when it wasn’t.

Weve gone inside, ordered, eaten and got back to the car and seen the same people queuing for the drive thru.

That's why I don't do drive through.
Our local one we park outside the car park, go in and order, pick it up and leave and the drive through hasn't moved.

Same always happens to us!

Although we once drove into the drive thru on a long journey and then at the last minute decided we actually didn’t fancy it but people were already behind us so we had to go through. But instead of being normal humans we just sat and stared ahead instead of saying something like ‘sorry, didn’t fancy anything in the end’ and then carried on driving through. When we got to the windows the staff were just staring at us very confused and we just kept saying to each other ‘this is awkward’, whilst still staring straight ahead with the windows up

I drove all the way home to find that my McChicken sandwich wasn't a sandwich, it had absolutely no bread. Just chicken and filling in a box. 😂

Oh my goodness. I once had the opposite, ordered McChicken sandwich but was only given the bun.

I like to think that we were at the same drive thru at the same time.

Someone drug driving smashed through the drive thru near me recently.2 people had to be air lifted to hospital

My gripe is probably quite minor,but the last 3 times I've ordered from McDonald's (on the app) I've not been given any sauces. I always order 2 barbecue sauces. I shouldn't have to check the bag to make sure they're in there every time. Chips without barbecue sauce are just not right!

So many tales about our local one.
Hot weather means no slush type drinks as the ice machine isn't working.
Ice cream machine usually not working as being cleaned.
What is a milk shake , last seen about 6 months ago .The person actually posted it on social media lol
Breakfast time only 1 hot drinks machine working so no coffee available as too many orders behind .
Missing items from order are so common that you have to check your order before driving off.
Even opening happy meals cos no chips in them .
Staff usually quite funny though , that resigned tone says it all .
I have actually complained a few times as its really dire but apparently all is well .

I was waiting for my order at a drive thru in Manchester when they had an armed robbery

I remember reading online a few months ago that when they told customers it was out of order,it was actually because it had been cleaned and they didn't want to have to do it again! Don't know how much truth there is in this,but it wouldn't surprise me if it WAS true.

Our two local ones don't have a drive thru. Blessing in disguise!

My local McDo's have a drive thru and it gets priority. It drives me mad (yes I could go through it myself but my son likes to sit in).

Our local is pretty terrible, they frequently give me the wrong flavour milkshakes so now I check them before I leave.

I order on the app and collect, never use the drive thru.

Just make the effort to park and get out of the car. Or go somewhere for less unhealthy food.

It's once a week, hardly gluttonous is it?
