My eye / face looks wonky

I got some passport pics done and just got a new passport today too.

I can't help but notice that my face actually looks wonky. In my last pic, 10 years ago- it looks fine.

It's like my left eye and side has dropped.

Is this just bloody ageing or could it be something else ?

I do suffer from MS and it's freaking me out that it could be a nerve thing ?

I also have dominant sight in one eye. So my right eye isn't very good, it's been like that since I was little and they couldn't correct the vision. I did used to have a tiny squint when I was little but it went away. So occasionally in pics, one eye looks slightly squinty.

However in my new passport pic, it's like one side of my face has dropped, with the eye. It just looks off.

Would you go to the doctor or is that just silly ? No one in real life has ever said anything.

Bell's Palsy came to mind straight away.

My DH had that - you could see when he smiled it was crooked, one side of his face wasn't lifting.

Definitely think you might need to see the doctor.

Well I don't know whether your MS or anything else health related is a factor but I will say that although all my life my face has been slightly asymmetrical it has got much more pronounced in recent years.
The right hand side of my face is fuller than the left hand side. As a result my right hand side of my face isn't showing the signs of age as much as the left hand side. It's the left hand side where fine lines are appearing.
In fact my body has always been a bit asymmetrical with my right breast being slightly larger than my left and this is now a bit more pronounced as I get older. Similarly I carry slightly more weight on the right of my abdomen.
My left eye is my leading eye and it's my right eye that has a cataract developing, but I think this is just coincidence.
Gosh I sound like a freak,! But I suppose I've got used to my own oddities.
If it's something new for you perhaps you could talk to your GP if you are concerned.

Thank you. My mouth is fine and it's definitely not as pronounced as bells pausy.

Hopefully it's not that. I'll keep an eye on it ! Excuse the pun

That's what I was thinking. Maybe it's just the way my face is ageing unfortunately! Great !
