Teenage boy hair

Why do most teenage boys look like they have roadkill stuck to the front of their head? Naturally curly hair arguably not so bad but those with straight hair who have attempted to volumise look dreadful.

Look dreadful to who?

Because it’s the fashion! I believe many get perms to achieve it. But so what? When I was a teenager all boys had curtains.

I like the look where its long and unruly on top and short back and sides.

I know boys get the micky taken out of them by older people but I think its one of the nicer fashion trends for kids in recent years.

I know what you mean OP! My nephew is 13 and every time I see him his hair looks more of a matted greasy mess covering his eyes. I’m a hairdresser and it kills me! Just want to clipper it off.
