To ask about going to Belfast approx 11th July

Are there any orange walks which would affect transport? It would be 11th July not 12th so I shouldn’t think so. Just concerned about going then not being able to get about the city and back to the airport etc.
Guess it’s during the week not the weekend so hopefully should be ok?
Thanks

There are parades on v frequently in run up to the 12th too and you have 11th night bonfires. You can check parades on the parade commission website

You’re unlikely to encounter any parades on the 11th but as the pp said there will be bonfires on the night of the 11th, these are in residential areas and won’t affect travel between the city centre and either airport. Are you planning to be there for a day trip? Are you planning to stick to the city centre only?

Belfast basically closes down for a few days around the 12th apart from the parades. You will notice a strange atmosphere. Most people stay at home or go on holiday. Travel should be ok on 11th though.

Yeah it's a weird place to be around that time. Also a public holiday do public transport is affected.

The 11th July is not a public holiday here. There may be the odd band playing at a street party but none that should affect public transport. The city centre will be business as usual.
