MarilynSays · 26/06/2024 14:46

astonish mould and mildew spray?

Member984815 · 26/06/2024 14:47

What have you tried so far ? Mould remover spray and those very thin scrubbing brushes might work

foodtoorder · 26/06/2024 14:49

Vikal spray?
Mould and mildew spray?
The pink stuff paste?
A decent but thin scrubber/brush too.

TomatoSandwiches · 26/06/2024 14:50

Mould tends to grow on top of limescale so use some vikadal or other limescale remover then a mould and mildew cleaner/vinegar and then dry the area after each use, letting it stay wet is what will cause this to build up again.

I use some flexi bottle brushes for difficult areas like this.

The main issue is trying to access it? I cant even reach that main bit! I have just tried bleach so far

Flash spray with bleach, and a diddy toothbrush. Some kids ones are really bendy and small.

TomatoSandwiches · 26/06/2024 15:07

Bleach won't clean it, you need a limescale remover first.

Look up pipe cleaners bottle brushes on amazon.

PeppermintParty · 26/06/2024 15:16

I've got a steam cleaner that I can use to blast a jet of steam into places I can't reach.

spicysamosahotcupoftea · 26/06/2024 15:25

Fill it Bang black mould spray (think it's in a purple bottle)

Works a treat

spicysamosahotcupoftea · 26/06/2024 15:25

Cillit Bang

Abaracadabara · 26/06/2024 15:28

How long did you leave the bleach on? Neat bleach will kill mould easily but needs time to work

scrapsontheside · 26/06/2024 16:05

The good one cleaning paste or bar keepers friend on a cloth , on a spoon handle (like a glove puppet iyswim)

needhelpwiththisplease · 26/06/2024 16:29

Buy a straw brush.

RiverF · 26/06/2024 16:41

I use bleech and squirt hard to make it reach, then leave it overnight

legap · 26/06/2024 16:54

Does this happen on most sinks?!

Scrub with a bottle brush and bathroom cleaner such as Flash that contains limescale remover. Then get some white vinegar and scrub again with that to completely dissolve limescale.

Mabelface · 26/06/2024 17:08

scrapsontheside · 26/06/2024 17:26
