Friday here, just hoping we get decent weather. It was 8 long, soggy weeks last year.

We've still another 8 days of term to go - also in Scotland.

I was at a wedding on this date years ago. When we went in for the dinner, there was Christmas music playing and Christmas trees all around the hall. Christmas in June without all the hassle of the prep was actually quite lovely!

Oh good, 9 weeks of trying to juggle work and childcare 🙃

I thought that when ds3 left school - and then ds2 became a teacher, so I had to go back to remembering when the school terms and holidays were. And now he is teaching in Australia, and I have no idea about term dates over there.

God I hope not. I'm counting on Dorset keeping the little buggers in school for a few more days so I can enjoy a quiet camping trip.

We break up after Thursday here, but my daughter is only in Mon/Tue afternoons so finishes this afternoon.

About three weeks left here. Yorkshire.
