Very, very niche query!
Can any mumsnetters in Belgium help with query about young people seeing films according to certificate age rating, if accompanied by parents?
For reasons that are too specific to detail, I want my 14 year old DS to see a film in a main cinema in Belgium that is R-Rated in USA & will be rated 16 in Belgium.
I have tried to get my tiny mind around how Belgium applies film age-ratings - some sources suggest that it's advisory & as long as teen is with parents, they can see 16 film...is that right?
Or is age-restriction of 16 enforced?
...I am having a bet with myself that no-one answers this query!
