I have had these results added to my health portal (not UK) in regards to cysts on my ovary

Google has me worried - I start a new job tomorrow so will be in training all day and not readily available to call my doctor right away

any advice or info welcome please!

Bilateral adnexal cysts measuring up to 4.6 cm right and 6.1 cm on the left with septation and calcification/hemorrhagic product. Pelvic ultrasound is recommended for further evaluation.

How were the cysts diagnosed?
How old are you?
Have you got endometriosis?
Have you had bloods (CA125) done?
Do you have any symptoms?

I understand you will be worried, but without knowing your medical history it is unlikely anyone on an internet forum can help. I wouldn't panic too much as cysts (even more "complex" ones) are quite common in pre-menopausal females but you will need further investigation. It would be CA125 bloods and transvaginal ultrasound in UK.

Bumping incase anyone helps as I'm in similar situation.

I've had CA125 though that's cone back fine. Waiting for ultrasound, no appointment through yet.

Mine where found on a ct scan for something else. Had transvaginal ultrasound and normal
ultrasound TCA125 bloods. Bloods fine as no symptoms no further action.

Get them sorted if there's a risk of damage.

I’m 36 and no blood work yet

All I can say is when I had a cyst found and it was suspicious, I was immediately referred under the 2 week wait. If you haven't been referred, I'm guessing they don't look too suspicious?

Mine turned out to be benign anyway. Apparently 99% of ovarian cysts are benign.

Anydrs · 25/06/2024 02:14

I’m not in the UK so don’t have the two pathway

spotted on an unrelated CT scan on Saturday and had a pelvic and internal ultrasound tonight

Felt very somber in there but I won’t get the results for a few days

Can I ask how you got on?
