Should I worry about this growth?

I am going to book a gp appointment this week, but meantime are there any lovely mumsnet experts that would know if I am being unreasonable to be concerned?
Photo attached, the growth is on my leg. Had this for 7 months now.
It looks like a shiny slightly raised nipple!

Should I worry about this growth?

I'd definitely get that checked.

It may well be nothing, but I wouldn't leave it

Get it checked. Last month, I went to my GP about the same type of growth on my leg, which I've had a year. The dermascope pics were sent to dermatology, and it came back as harmless dermatofibroma. It is better to get it checked to make sure.

Thank you both!
Aww I'm glad yours was harmless @Strawberryshortcake14

I've just had a basal cell carcinoma removed after ignoring it for about 4 years 🙄

Histology shows it was benign but I really should have got it looked at straight away.

Well worth getting yours looked at. Most lumps and bumps aren't sinister but always better to check.
