Well anything is ‘just whatever’ if you want to break it down. For the people who want to go and are unable to get tickets it’s not ‘just a concert’ because it’s something they care about. I went and had one of the best nights of my life: so much fun, such a nice atmosphere and loved beIng part a crowd who are all excited about the same thing. I’d have been gutted to have missed out. It’s fine for you to think it’s just a concert interchangeable with any other, but not to think that everyone else should have the same opinion as you on it.

So why add traffic to the subject you’re so sick of talking about? I’m not interested in Wimbledon but I don’t declare it just another game, act surprised that other people are interested, wonder why people try so hard to get tickets, and start threads to announce that. I just move on.

I think there is a distinct bitterness about people who think they’re too cool for TS but are slightly miffed that they’re not in on it.

Meh. Let people have their nice things. I couldn’t care less about the football but I don’t tell people it’s just a game or whatever. No need to piss on someone’s bonfire.

Love and let live. We all like different things. People may not care about shit that's important to you and that's fine. Don't piss on other people's chips though.

@Screamingabdabz Definitely not bitter nor 'too cool' for Taylor Swift But the dramatics on here about tickets is absolutely ridiculous, so many other things in the world to be heartbroken / devastated/ irate about.

@NerrSnerr I haven't disagreed with the Concerts making People happy, but am allowed to express my annoyance at the hundreds of threads about tickets. They're dominating this site of late when there's more pressing issues to debate and discuss in the World! Just a Singer, just a concert. You didn't get tickets, the World hasn't ended.

It might be "just a concert" to you but it means much more to other people. I finally got to see the Foo Fighters last week after 25 years. I'm still ecstatic over it.
As you point out, things are crappy for a lot of people, if these concerts bring happiness, what's the problem?

just scroll past threads you're not interested in, everything else is still being discussed, or get realky radical & start a more interesting thread yourself.

Personally you'd have to pay me (a lot) to go, but that doesn't mean I can't get excited for the people getting tickets & feel for those that can't.
