Being bullied but this person is loved by everyone

Don’t want to give too many details but was bullied by a horrible person and just received update on the “investigation” and it’s concluded he’s a well-liked individual and seems like I was the only person with an issue. How would you respond or react to this? I kind of wish I hadn’t even reported and feel like crap now with it being dragged out.

Would have been easier if I just ignored.

Some people are a wolf in sheep's clothing/Jekyll and Hyde. Bullies don't tend to bully everyone. They single out victims. Abusers in the home are often thought to be charming by the outside world.
The people telling you he's a well liked individual and you're the only one with a problem should know that.

Is it a workplace situation? The only thing to do is leave, I had this exact situation and everyone loved them and turned against me so I had no other option. The person who took my job got in touch a few months later to ask why I had left and it turned out he was doing the same thing again, she also had to leave.

100% agree. I had this at work and the best solution is to walk away, save your mental health, and put your energy into something more worthwhile.

I had a similar problem at work, I was bullied by my manager, but everyone in the company either turned a blind eye or didn’t believe me. I wish I had left sooner, instead of enduring years of stress. Unfortunately there is no law against bullying and it’s not something that will likely go away, can you change jobs or departments?

Yep same at work. People think he's great but he treated me like shit ...people still take his side because 'he seems so nice'
