To be worried this means something is wrong with my 23 month old?

Ds is 23 months and has no hair! Well, he has a tiny fraction of hair but looks bald in photos etc. Absolutely no need for a cut and barely needs washing (obviously we do wash what’s there). Should I be worried?

What was yours and his father’s hair like as a baby/toddler? My children have much less hair than most children of a similar age but so did I as a child (and it’s still fine). Is he healthy in every other way?

My son didn't have a hair on his head til he was 2! Little baldy! Didn't really occur to me that it might be something wrong to be honest... He had such a cute little round head.

He is now 16 with hair down to his shoulders 😂

This isn’t that unusual.

My DD is three and still hasn't had a haircut. She has an absolute mop of curls now, but was essentially bald until she was at least 18 months old. I wouldn't worry too much.

I'm guessing baby is blonde or ginger. They seem to get their hair later. Bonus points - blonde and ginger hair tend to be thicker than average eventually. Not always but mostly

My niece was 4 before she has any hair. She's 8 now and has an incredible amount of the most lush golden curls going

I was bald until I was about 2! My hair grew normally after that.

Sorry, your post made me smile! DS was exactly the same. Is he very fair? DS went on to develop an amazing mop of blond hair. He had his first haircut at 4.

My friend's daughter was bald til she was very nearly 3..and only had a very fine short covering when she started school. Very blonde. It did grow eventually!
