To ask for my broom back

We recently had our garden landscaped (by recently I mean they ripped everything out at the beginning of Jan and left us with an unsightly swamp till may as it was too wet to lay turf) since it's been finished I've noticed a few issues (brick firepit is a really wonky circle, gravel doesn't match the rest of the garden-i had asked for slate, one of the flags on patio is a completely different colour and stands out like a sore thumb, in need of an extra stepping stone, a mound of bricks was left buried in the borders which I had to dig out, and a few other things) which I have asked the landscaper to come back to look at (hopefully fix but I'm not holding out too much hope).
Now to the point of my post, I have also noticed my large outdoor broom and dust pan and brush are missing, I know the landscapers used them and probably mistakenly loaded them up with their stuff, would you mention this/ ask for them to be returned?

I'm very non confrontational and hate having to bring up the issues I have and don't know if it would be petty to mention the broom and dustpan?

TIA

TLDR landscapers messed up a few things and nabbed my large useful outdoor broom and dustpan, should I ask for them back

That sounds like a snagging list, and they should put all those things right free of charge and also give back your broom. Write them a nice polite email asking when they will be able to complete the agreed works and return your property.
