I think there should be 65-84 and 85+.
As in the age breakdown of Brexit vote on age group https://www.statista.com/statistics/520954/brexit-votes-by-age/ if they had a separate category for over 85s, it would be 90% leave.
There are retired people who still have a parent alive - this was the case for my dad until earlier this year when grandmother died. Have different attitudes etc.
