To keep 11 month old awake from 11 am to about 630?

I nearly always struggle with naps but today’s taken the biscuit. DD woke up from her nap at 11 am. Tried for next nap at around 215 and got nowhere. She was right on the verge of nodding off but then I had to go and collect ds. Came back and tried again but she just won’t nap. I’ve no chance downstairs with ds but cant really leave him downstairs for ages while I try to get her to sleep. In for a hideous night now and I’m fed up.

You have my sympathy ,Mine are 17 and 14 now but I remember the days when they had late nap ,it really does screw up your evening ,good luck with keeping her awake!

Would she sleep in the buggy if you gave it a little shuggle? maybe with a white noise app on your phone tucked in the hood?

Not a chance 😫😫😫

She’s crawling around quite happily. She’s been awake for nearly five hours Confused

At 11 months I had to go down to one nap for my baby- at first 12.30-2.30/3 but then pushed back to 1-3. Not helpful for today but maybe try a later nap and just one a day?

I wouldn’t say she’s ready for the one nap yet. She woke at 620 this morning and was ready for and went down for her nap happily at about 930. She would have fallen asleep about an hour ago but I had to get DS which messed everything up.
