I always end up just doing housework or food shopping or scrolling on my phone or watching tv. What do you do on days off?

Cut the hedges, mow the lawn, gardening, grow veg, more housewotk, cook new recipes walk dogs.

Never, ever bored. Wouldn't dream of turning TV on during the day. I listen to podcasts while I work or Audio books.

I do need a hobby but have no idea what I'd enjoy. I have a small garden with patio and stones but I don't know where to start or what to buy.

Going to the gym, walk in a park/hike further afield if the weather is decent, read a book, do a bit of drawing. Watch a creative course on youtube/udemy/skillshare/domestika. Sort the laundry. Take the dog out. Then meet my partner after he finished work to go out to eat/cinema/theatre/museum.
Sometimes I have a hair or beauty appointment. Sometimes I can go and explore a cute market town/attraction nearby.
Formula 1 on Sundays either at home or in a pub.
TV generally doesn't come on till about 7-8pm if we are home by then.

I have two days off a week and apart from being on Mumsnet (as I am now!) I never run out of things to do. I've just been food shopping, I'm about to mow the lawn, tidy the garden, I'm doing a load of laundry and will then start preparing dinner.
I also have various admin jobs to take care of.
