Feels like a normal period albeit more minor I guess due to not so much material to work with

How old are you? I've had three in a month but I'm 46 so not entirely unexpected. (I have also got a Dr's appointment about it soon)

Level75 · 16/06/2024 16:32

Age is critical. From about 40 I frequently had periods every 2 weeks.

OptimismvsRealism · 16/06/2024 17:25

I am 42. NGL while I don't relish peri I'd prefer that to undetected Chlamydia or cancer!

But have up until today been as regular as clockwork

Also getting some weird bruises

Probably just old age

Shut up with the old age for gods sake woman

The bruises I don't know but form 40 it's natural for your periods to go haywire until they stop. The amount of pregnancy tests I did even though my dh has had a vasectomy 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hayliebells · 16/06/2024 17:35

Yep, this is all very normal once you hit your 40's.

Hayliebells · 16/06/2024 17:36

I mean the weird period cycles, not necessarily the bruises.

BoobyDazzler · 16/06/2024 17:38

I get this sometimes and some months have very light periods some heavier. I’m 44 and peri. I think it’s fairly normal.

OptimismvsRealism · 16/06/2024 19:01

Thanks guys

It has happened once before about ten years ago I suppose the body is just a bit weird sometimes and if hormones are deteriorating it would make sense

It's still worth a trip to the GP to rule out anything else, but I wouldn't be concerned.
