I had nothing to do with the assault but been charged with what the main perpetrater has been charged with but the procurator fiscal isn't saying I committed the crime it just looks like I'm involved because I'm on the cctv I had no clue what was going to unfold but I have a clean record and it's just stressing me out thinking I'll have to leave my I'll wife behind and my family I just don't think this is fair any help I have a lawyer I still haven't seen cctv but apparently I'm jesturing with my hand but I was not egging that attack on I've just got caught up in it. Any help would be great while I wait for cctv

So what actually happened?

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 14/06/2024 21:26

So someone was assaulted by another person and you cheered them on?

OhHelloMiss · 14/06/2024 21:27

What charge did you get?

HereWeGoRoundAgain · 14/06/2024 21:27

What's art & part?!

Februaryfeels · 14/06/2024 21:28

Art and part?

TheSandHurtsMyFeelings · 14/06/2024 21:28

What is art and part and why are you asking this on mumsnet?

OhHelloMiss · 14/06/2024 21:28

Art and part is Scottish law

Choice4567 · 14/06/2024 21:29

What’s happened?

HowDidJudithSurvive · 14/06/2024 21:29

Is the Scottish version of aiding and abetting or accessory to.

Misthios · 14/06/2024 21:38

Well if the PF has decided there is enough evidence to go to court, you'll have to appear and let the jury decide.

TheTartfulLodger · 14/06/2024 21:40

You've posted this on several boards tonight but don't answer any questions. What exactly were you gesturing with your hands on camera?

minou123 · 14/06/2024 21:42

So art and part seems to be indirect participation in a crime by instigating, counseling, or assisting the actual perpetrator.

Thing us, no-one on mumnet can really help you
You have to talk to your lawyer. They are the only person who can give you legal advice and tell you what the possible punishment/prison sentence could be.

Completely understand this is stressful, but you must talk to your wife and family.

Nb, stay away from the main perpetrator.
