To want to move house when our current on is nice?

We are renting a very cute one bedroom apartment. It’s very pretty but it’s tiny. The only bathroom is an en suite.

DP wants to stay here for another year. I want to move. I’m happy here but I want to try a new area of the city before we buy somewhere.

I’ve found an apartment which is a lot bigger (almost twice the size). It’s not finished quite as nicely as our current place. But it would save 40 minutes per day commuting time as could walk to work. It’s also an extra £400 a month.

Definitely do it if you can afford it. An extra 40 mins per workday is almost 175 hours a year each. Definitely worth the time saved, and the extra space is a bonus!

The money is fine. I think that dp just can’t be bothered with moving all of our furniture

Thanks that’s a great point!
